Healthy Heart Check
Heart disease causes more than 26% of all deaths in the UK, that’s over 150,000 deaths each year. Every six minutes, someone in the UK is struck by a heart attack.
EatUp offers businesses and their employees the opportunity to have a Healthy Heart Check. Why not become more aware about your heart health and help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
The 15-minute appointment provides a full cholesterol and glucose profile obtained via a finger prick blood sample, blood pressure, weight and BMI measurements. These will be logged on a card along with a brief discussion around the results. The company will receive a full graphical summary report.

A business’s most valuable asset is, and will always be, the dedicated staff that devote themselves to delivering the work of the organisation. Healthy and fit staff are essential to ensuring a company remains efficient and profitable. Recent data revealed that obesity has more than trebled in the past 25 years. Being obese and overweight is associated with a higher likelihood of suffering numerous chronic illnesses including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, joint problems and some cancers.
Health and well-being isn’t just about eating a healthy balanced diet though. Its also about exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, keeping stress levels to a minimum and making sure you feel part of the community through social engagement.
I offer small group talks or larger more formal presentations to businesses and their employees on how to stay fit and healthy in body and mind and how to be the best version of you.
